It is my belief that literacy is a civil right and provides equity and inclusion. Every student deserves a high-quality education that affirms their self-efficacy as critical readers and writers. Ensuring this is the reality for every student is my life purpose!I am committed to developing and managing programs that prepare educators and leaders to teach students how to read, write, speak, and listen as agents for change. The use of literacy curricula that is aligned to current reading science research and is designed to meet the varying needs of all students with the use of data-informed differentiated instructional practices is one of my top priorities.

Collaborate with senior leadership to define the overall instructional design strategy and develop long-term plans for content development and curriculum design. Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, content developers, and subject matter experts. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team delivers high-quality educational content; including the development of instructional materials, interactive multimedia content, assessments, and other learning resources. Ensure all content is pedagogically sound, culturally relevant, and accessible to diverse learners by establishing and implementing quality assurance processes with regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, learning and development, customer success, and external partners, educators, and industry experts to incorporate best practices and emerging trends in instructional design. Lead creativity and innovation with a deep understanding of research, trends, and technologies in instructional design, the science of reading, and education technology.
