I focus my practice on the defense of workers\' compensation matters, taking a hands on approach to minimizing risk and managing the litigation process. Achieving the best results starts with an immediate and thorough investigation followed by a detailed litigation strategy. Direct participation with clients on site in safety and loss run meetings create effective pre-litigation strategy while also serving as a means to continually adapt claims management planning as cases evolve. Aggressive negotiation, creative solutions, trial and alternative resolution strategies are employed to achieve cost effective case closure. Clients include security, construction, transportation, medical organizations, commercial distribution, paper goods, employment agencies, distribution centers, food processing and meat packing industry employers, as well as insurers and third party administrators.Medicare compliance has become an increasing concern, complicating all aspects of litigation management. I am experienced in conditional payment issues, mandatory insurer reporting under Section analyzing the need for Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) arrangements, and the preparation of those MSAs. To better serve my clients I am a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant, certified through the International Commission on Health Care Certification.
