ABOUT JENNIFER S.

Networking in tv/film/commercial entertainment industry. She studied biology at the University of Illinois in Champaign and Chicago, & was a part of the tri-beta biology honor’s society and Dean’s list at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL. She graduated from IC in 2007 with her B.S. in biology. While in Chicago, she started a career in modeling for local designers. She graduated with her B.S. in biology and travelled to Dallas, TX to work as a personal Pilates instructor at Larry North Fitness in Highland Park, & full time spinning and yoga instructor at The Texas Club and SMU. She then obtained a job as a clinical researcher at the Jones Eye Institute in Little Rock, AR. After only 3 months and at the age of 24, she was published in ARVO and IOVS for her work on the project “Role of Complement Factor H (CFH) in immune evasion of uveal melanoma cell’s”, Listed as an author on her lab\'s poster for FL Ophthalmology conference: “Increased Severity of Choroidal Neovascularization in Laser Treated Rats After Alcohol and Nicotine Feeding Rats,” & was a featured speaker in Ophthalmology Research Series discussing findings in the research paper: “Benefits of Using Nonpreserved Care Solutions on Silicone Hydrogel Contacts.” After Little Rock, she traveled to Oklahoma City to become a fitness coordinator at the OUHSC health club.It was there when she decided to pack up everything and follow her dreams in LA. She obtained her SAG card after 3 months of living in Los Angeles,not knowing anyone nor the entertainment industry. She treats her career as a business.This work ethic comes from her extensive background of growing up on her family farm (where she still farms) driving tractors, raised cattle, & other farm-related responsibilities.She was able to create solid connections with people in the LA entertainment industry after 1.5 years there, moved to Chicago and obtained larger SAG-AFTRA roles and print work; she traveled back & forth to LA & Chicago to dominate. She is now owner and operator of her Grab’N’Grow Greenhouse & in the midst of expanding her vision to bring more local produce & meats to rural residents. In addition, she is manage and operator of Sauer Farms.
