ABOUT JENNIFER ROBINSON

In 2024, I graduated with a MA Conflict, Security, and Development degree from the University of Exeter, building upon a BA (Hons) in International Relations and French achieved in 2023. I currently work as the Defence Services Executive at ADS Group Ltd, the UK’s trade association for the aerospace, defence, security, and space sectors, now representing around 1,700 member companies. My academic journey reflects a strong commitment to understanding global defence dynamics and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. Highlights include a study abroad year at the University of Geneva and an internship with Peregrine Risk Management, where I contributed to threat and intelligence assessments. My master’s dissertation, “Multiculturalism or Assimilation: A Comparative Analysis of Media Discourse Following Jihadist Terror Attacks (2015–2021),” encapsulates five years of focused research into counterterrorism and jihadist activity. Driven by a passion for security and global affairs, I pair academic curiosity with professional versatility. I am eager to expand on my knowledge and make impactful contributions in the defence sector, collaborating on shaping a secure and innovative future for UK industry.
