ABOUT JENNIFER ROBB

I am an enthusiastic and strategic finance leader with over 15 years of experience in various public and private industries, including transportation, construction, and energy. I hold a CPA, CMA designation and a Master of Business Administration degree. Recently, I served as the Director of Finance at Prince Rupert Port Authority, a key gateway for trade with Asia and one of the fastest growing ports in North America. I currently work as the Forestry Operations Finance Manager for Mosaic Forest Management with offices in Vancouver, Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay and Campbell River. I provide ongoing leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Finance team, ensuring alignment with the financial strategy and goals. I also act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing nuanced and insightful financial analyses to support sound decision making. Some of my key achievements include: Implementing a new corporate performance management system and process, which reduced errors and turnaround time, and enhanced visibility into key financial indicators. Coordinating external reporting, including bank covenant reporting, federal government reporting, and federal grant reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Designing and rolling out risk management workshops and leading the annual budget process, including quarterly forecast revisions, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Successfully handling all aspects of a $15M insurance claim, demonstrating my insurance and risk management expertise and ability to deliver under pressure.
