ABOUT JENNIFER RICE

I am the Economic Development Specialist for the City of Fairfield’s Economic Development Division. Since 2011, I have been the primary point of contact for real estate transactions and property asset management for the City. I began my role in real estate in 1997 where I worked with a nationwide residential property management company before making the move on to a local commercial real estate development and management company in Fairfield. I am currently responsible for the sale and acquisition of City-owned real property, easements, right-of-entry agreements, lease agreements, licenses, and other real estate-related contracts and transactions. I earned her Right of Way (RWP) certification from the International Right of Way Association in 2016. In 2020, I earned a certificate of completion for the Advanced Institute for Economic Development from CALED in collaboration with California State University, Fresno. I regularly work with the business community promoting City programs such as the Revolving Loan Fund and the REAP Program. In 2024 I was promoted to Economic Development Specialist so that I could expand my work and help new and existing businesses succeed. I assist in finding businesses support, funding, support staff, marketing training, and other business needs while continuing to work on real estate matters.
