ABOUT JENNIFER RASCHKE

Jennifer has over a decade of human resources experience, serving as an HR Director, HR Generalist, Recruiter, and various other HR roles. Before becoming a consultant with Alternative HR, she was an HR Generalist at Harley-Davidson and Corporate Recruiter at Lutheran Social Services (now SpiriTrust Lutheran). Her industry experience has been primarily in healthcare, non-profits, and manufacturing. Jennifer completed her Master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in Human Resources and Employment Relations, with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law in 2015. Jennifer became passionate about human resources and its importance while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Purdue University and she joined the Society for Human Resource Management in 2006. Jennifer earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2011 and also has her SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification. She is active in the human resources community, serving on the board of York Society for Human Resource Management since 2009 and as a member of the Human Resources committee for York Habitat for Humanity since 2010. Currently Jennifer is the President of the York SHRM Chapter. Jennifer received the 2016 HR Professional of the Year Award from the York Society for Human Resource Management and is a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Training Program through Leadership York. Jennifer has been honored by receiving Master’s degree scholarship awards from both the Society for Human Resource Management and the Appalachian Health Care Human Resources Society. Jennifer loves learning and is always ready for a new challenge.
