   Supports and aids growth of WRMA\'s research and evaluation portfolio with a commitment to improving federal and State programs and policies serving individuals and families in need. Provides leadership and mentoring to staff and project teams.Currently directing several projects, including:* ACL\'s APS Opioids Pilot Project - a 12-month pilot to implement and evaluate screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) within APS programs to support clients and alleged perpetrators at risk of opioid and other substance use.* USDA\'s Food Price Data Collection in the Non-Contiguous States and U.S. Territories - a 5-year contract to design, implement, and collect prices of foods and beverages that U.S. citizens pay outside the contiguous States. This study will fill gaps in federal data resources, determine the feasibility of implementing a data infrastructure, and inform federal nutrition-related policy. Previous projects have included:* Predicting Risk for Adult Maltreatment (PRAM) project - an Administration for Community Living (ACL) project that aims to inform the use of technology and machine learning tools by state Adult Protective Service programs to improve services to clients.* 2022 Child and Adult Care Food Program Meal Claim Error Methods Study for the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to inform program integrity activities for family daycare homes.
