Research and monitor emerging public health trends to inform internal strategy and community health priorities. Lead the development of the quarterly Bronx Health Matters newsletter, including- Creating and maintaining a publication schedule- Developing topics and coordinating content- Managing outreach to contributors and collaborating departments- Create public-facing content to increase awareness and understanding of our health initiatives and emerging public health issues- Facilitate and coordinate the activities of key health committees- Contribute to projects, events, and programs focused on key health priorities such as maternal health, HIV, opioid overdose prevention, and mental health- Assist with other departmental initiatives addressing domestic violence, diabetes and food insecurity, COVID-19, influenza, and other emergent health challenges- Attend webinars, trainings, and meetings hosted by partner organizations as needed.
