Organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and other Scrum-related ceremonies. • Constantly interacting with the developers to ensure functional implementation of business requirements and QA team in executing Test Plans. • Making sure the team adheres to the norms that guide the workflow. • Decomposing actions into epics, developing user stories with the INVEST criteria and creating tasks with team members with the SMART technique. • Working with two scrum teams and motivating them to improve and be self-organized through mentoring, coaching and early removal of impediments. • Working alongside other Scrum Master’s to define, reinforce and maintain a consistent practice within and across the organization. • Utilizing Rally reports to plan the sprint, velocity and keep track of the project. • Addressing and resolving issues within 24 hours also adhering and managing the lifecycle of code development, from product backlog to sprints and to deployment. • Facilitating product backlog refinement meetings for the product owner to refine and prioritize user stories. • Coaching, training and continuously mentoring the team in story point estimation using Fibonacci series and planning poker. • Introducing new agile planning tools to foster collaboration and to minimize estimate manipulation. • Performing feasibility study, adaptability and risk analysis to identify the business critical and high-risk areas of the application. • Capturing meetings minutes and ensuring action plans are monitored and completed; Scheduling releases with the Team and keeping track of development status, inspecting and adapting with the team to constantly improve performance and responsiveness. • Effectively escalating and resolving issues through collaboration with teams and individuals throughout the firm.
