Since of September 2013, working under CH2M’s State and Local Government Client Sector primarily on the SHRP2 consultant support contract. CH2M’s role as subcontracted to AASHTO involves coordinating with FHWA, AASHTO and TRB staff to progress and promote implementation, education and technology transfer of SHRP2 products across State and Local agencies. Acting product lead for multiple SHRP2 products includes moving scope forward, working directly with client task groups, anticipating and fulfilling client requests, and follow through from draft to final deliverables. Shepherding meeting logistics through a team effort includes facilitating invited State DOT and other stakeholder participation, working with subject matter experts to develop robust meeting agendas, preparing meeting sites, hosting webinars, producing deliverables, drafting marketing materials and a variety of documents from implementation plans to invitation letters, and generating power point presentations. TIGER and FASTLINE Grant Proposal WritingDrafted significant portions of a City of Las Vegas FASTLANE grant proposal for a new I-515 City Parkway Slip Ramp to provide additional access to Downtown Las Vegas (Downtown), significantly reduce congestion, increase safety, and improve freeway operations by providing vehicles an alternative exit to City Parkway before the existing lane drop area, and reducing the number of vehicles weaving at the I-515/US 95/I-15 system interchange ramp merge point.Drafted the Missouri DOT I-270 TIGER proposal for the Lindbergh Boulevard Interchange to I-170 which, like others in the I-270 North Corridor, suffers from traffic congestion, safety issues, limited access, and infrastructure deterioration that fails to serve all users safely and efficiently. The proposal provided the opportunity to champion future I-270 North Corridor redesign and reconstruction projects using a multi-modal, innovative, and community building approach.
