About Jennifer Morgan

A seasoned trial attorney with 25 years of experience – including trying more than a dozen cases to verdict – I represent parties in complex litigation disputes. In particular, I regularly represent public utilities and renewable energy generators in energy industry-related litigation and appeals. I also continue to defend multinational manufacturers in significant product liability litigation and trials. I am proud to be an elected member of the American Law Institute, an organization of the nation’s preeminent attorneys, judges, and law professors producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law. As the former managing partner of my law firm, I bring experience running a business to my representation of clients facing complex legal challenges. I have deep connections to companies and business leaders across the State of Connecticut based on my recent service as Chair of the Board of Directors of both the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the State’s most influential business organization, and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. I also have served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Lex Mundi, the world’s leading network of independent law firms, and as Board Chair of several major nonprofit and cultural organizations in Connecticut.
