I am a seasoned public health communication strategist with 17+ years of experience spanning federal agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. My work centers on designing and leading communications, social marketing, partnership, and policy initiatives that drive meaningful public health impact. I’ve led the development, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale communication programs, translating complex science into clear, meaningful messaging that resonates with diverse communities and drives action. In 2025, I founded Elmoore Consulting to bring together my expertise in strategy, plain language, and narrative design to support organizations shaping healthier, more equitable communities. Previously, I served as Health Communications Specialist and Editorial Lead at the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, where I oversaw cross-cutting communications on topics ranging from rare diseases and women\'s health to cannabis regulation, patient-focused drug development, and advisory committees. I’ve also held communications roles at CDC and HRSA, building a career grounded in clarity, excellence, and impact.
