Direct and coordinate Division quality assurance and quality improvement activities, including serving as Chairperson of the Quality Improvement/Utilization Review Committee, Performance Improvement Project Innovation Committee, and Data Review and Development Committee. Collaborate with operational teams to assess risk, establish priorities, and design and execute performance improvement projects. Support contract providers in meeting and exceeding quality standards. Monitor system of care performance and implement scorecards to drive accountability and outcomes. Advise on the appropriate use of quality improvement tools and methodologies. Interpret Federal, State and County regulations, and establish and maintain system and service delivery standards to meet regulatory requirements (e.g, CMS, DHCS, Title 9, CDPH). Liaise with internal and external auditors and quality review organizations to facilitate audit proceedings, corrective action and ongoing agency response and auditor relationship engagement.
