ABOUT JENNIFER MCCAHILL

I am a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelors degree in Finance. I continued my post-secondary education at American University obtaining a Masters in Accounting and further completed by CPA Certification.I have worked at GRF CPAs & Advisors (formerly Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs) since 2008, in which, during my tenure, I have concentrated my skills and expertise in auditing and accounting for tax-exempt organizations and federal compliance audits.As a Partner, I am responsible for coordinating interactions between firm and client staff and for ensuring the engagement is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. I manage all phases of engagements for audits of nonprofit organizations, including associations, private voluntary organizations, international and other charitable institutions. I have extensive experience in auditing organizations in accordance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and/or OMB Circular A-133. Furthermore, I help manage the Employee Benefit Plan Practice, ensuring compliance with the specifics of various plan qualifications, such as (but not limited to) audits of 401(K), 401(a), 403(b), and defined benefit plans. I travel internationally on behalf of GRF clients, including trips to Nairobi, Oslo, Paris, Port-au-Prince, Kigali and Juba.
