The First Tee of Greater Austin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The First Tee of Greater Austin delivers its curriculum primarily through afterschool and weekend programs, summer camps and is part of the National School Program which introduces elementary school age children to The First Tee\'s lifeskill curriculum, its nine healthy habit program and teaches a lifetime sport during their physical education classes in school.The First Tee of Greater Austin also owns and operates the Harvey Penick Golf Campus, a 12 hole PGA TOUR Designed facility which includes; a 9 hole golf course, 3 hole short course, practice putting and chipping greens and a driving range.
