ABOUT JENNIFER LOVELACE

My promotional career path reflects successes in crafting product strategies that have positioned consumer goods companies to outperform their competitors, experience substantial top-line growth, and deliver value to their customers.I am proud to be associated with major industry players in consumer goods, including Zep, Inc, Waxman Industries, and Newell Rubbermaid®- Rubbermaid® Home Products Division. I have led all aspects of developing, marketing, and launching products, including analysis of research to assess the competition, identify customer needs, and uncover market gaps. An important focus of my experience is fostering collaborations with cross-functional partners and integrating their input to support new product concepts and/or product improvements.My favorite stories include- Enhancing existing EPA products to supply growing demand for Zep, leading to $21M growth in category sales within 1 year during Covid- Developing a new specialty drain program and refresh of existing brand packaging/messaging to turn around 2 years of double-digit sales decline to $18M+ sales growth at retail in Zep’s drain category- Contributing to Waxman’s status as Category Captain in showers by presenting Glacier Bay® Shower’s unique product line-up (acknowledged by The Home Depot as the “best shower presentation” they had ever seen from a vendor)- Creating a 6-bay Rubbermaid® Closet program that displaced Closet Maid in all stores at Lowe’s and drove $27M in incremental sales.Throughout my career I have kept pace with rapidly changing market needs and consumer preferences, continually embedding the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
