About Jennifer Liao
Hello! I’m Jennifer (Chieh Ling Liao), a Junior at San Jose State University majoring in Marketing. I’ve had hands-on experience in both digital and general marketing through campus organizations and consulting projects, but I’m especially excited about exploring the entertainment industry. As someone who loves musicals, theater, and storytelling, I’m passionate about how marketing can bring creative experiences to life and connect with audiences in memorable ways.Born in Taiwan and raised between Asia and the U.S, I’ve learned to navigate diverse cultures, an experience that’s shaped how I lead, communicate, and collaborate. In college, I’ve taken initiative to build hands on experience through roles like MA Consulting’s partnership with LinkedIn and as the marketing lead and founding member of the SJSU LinkedIn Student Ambassador Program, where I developed skills in branding, engagement, and project execution.Outside of school, I’ve always been drawn to active, creative outlets. I grew up fencing and a competitive form of horseback riding focused on speed and jumping over obstacle courses. In my free time, you’ll usually find me journaling, crafting, or vlogging life’s little moments.
