About Jennifer Kornu
Currently developing climate and energy solutions through my master’s program in Climate & Sustainability Engineering at Duke University. I am focused on practical pathways that make clean, reliable power possible for the communities that need it most.My earlier experience was in Ghana’s power sector, working on projects that ranged from gas-turbine generation to transmission and plant reliability. I contributed to the construction of a 45 MW gas-turbine facility and supported a major expansion project involving 40 MVA transformers and 33 kV systems. Those years gave me strong exposure to equipment performance, project execution, and the decisions that keep power systems running safely and efficiently.At Duke, I am broadening that experience with climate modeling, energy systems analysis, and hands-on problem solving. I am driven by opportunities to build solutions that are dependable, sustainable, and create real impact.
