I oversee special projects in our Justice Reinvestment portfolio and develop state-level legislative and administrative policy recommendations for improvements to a state\'s criminal justice system to be more effective, efficient, and equitable at promoting rehabilitation and ensuring public safety. Policies are data driven using both qualitative and quantitative measures. My legislative policy development includes statutory reviews, bill drafting, and legislative testimony. I facilitate meetings with high-level stakeholders across all 3 branches of government in a non-partisan way. Additionally, I continue the assessment and implementation work of my prior role as Senior Policy Analyst.
