At NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, I lead the NCEI Ocean and Coastal Mapping Team and serve as Director of the IHO Data Center for Digital Bathymetry (which is hosted by NCEI). As Director, I participate in numerous national and international mapping forums and projects such as Seabed 2030. I also chair the IHO Crowdsourced Bathymetry Working Group and am a member of the Atlantic Seabed Mapping International Working Group.Finally, I support the data management aspect of the U.S. Extended Continental Shelf activities under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
