ABOUT JENNIFER HERMANN
As the Executive Director of the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, I lead an organization that enriches the lives of people through music and extraordinary experiences. With over seven years of experience in this role, I oversee the administration, operations, fundraising, marketing, public relations, and community development of the organization, working with a dedicated staff, board, and volunteers.I also have a passion for performing and teaching music, which I have pursued for more than three decades. I am a collaborative pianist, chamber musician, and soloist. I also have a decade of experience as an Associate Professor of Music at South Puget Sound Community College, where I taught courses in music theory, music appreciation, and piano. I hold a Master\'s degree in Music from Florida State University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington Tacoma, as well as training in Orchestra Management from the League of American Orchestras.
