My role as Senior Scientist (Immunology) involves overseeing the development, characterization and optimization of novel immunoassay kits in multiplex formats based on our Firefly™ particle technology, which offer researchers considerable advantages over standard ELISA-based assays. Our team is responsible for the design, planning and implementation of new product development and evaluation of novel technologies. I also provide technical assistance and marketing support to the commercial operations and customer support, and represent the Abcam Immunoassay team at external conferences and meetings, providing product support directly to our customers and acquiring new product and collaboration leads. I am also currently line manager for our Senior Research Associate.
