About Jennifer Haynes
I am an energetic creative history teacher. For many years I taught history in a secondary education setting to both middle & high school students. For most of my secondary teaching career I taught in an small semi urban environment. I discovered I enjoyed teaching in the city & found it to be very rewarding. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, I assisted professors & taught freshmen discussion classes and filled in for some large lectures. It was an incredible opportunity & I had some inspiring mentors. Teaching is my passion and a job I love. I currently teach in an urban school downtown Cincinnati. It is a Charter School and there are many challenges, but I have come to love the soul of city education. My father grew up in East LA and still talks about teachers that changed his life because they believed in him and he’s 82!~ Education Rocks!~ History Rocks!
