ABOUT JENNIFER HAMMERSLEY
Experienced Biomedical Scientist and Training Specialist with 18 years in Biomedical Sciences including BSc (Hons) Animal Science, BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and MSc Biomedical Science (Haematology and Blood Transfusion), and specifically Haematology, Morphology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion. Thrives on sharing knowledge of biomedical and animal science through a variety of learning and teaching activities, including 1:1 training, group lectures, e-learning and virtual training delivery. I enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently, meeting new people and the challenge of innovative course curriculum creation to ensure the information is communicated in the most appropriate manner for the target audience to ensure success. In my career I am most proud of obtaining a scholarship at Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies as an Equine Orthopaedic Technician. During my scholarship I completed my dissertation for my BSc (Hons) Animal Science, ‘Scintigraphic assessment of the normal pattern of technetium methylene diphosphate (99mTc-MDP) in equine cervical vertebrae’.
