About Jennifer Gueits

As an ESL instructor at the Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, I have been teaching English to adult learners from diverse backgrounds and cultures for over a year. I have a master\'s degree in teaching English as a second or foreign language, and a mini-MBA in business essentials. My mission is to empower my students to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I also value continuous learning and growth, and seek to apply my skills and knowledge to new and challenging contexts.In addition to my teaching role, I am also a learning and development coach at Nike, where I have onboarded and developed more than 50 new hires and retail supervisors for the global flagship store in the past two years. I have extensive experience in retail operations, communication, and interpersonal skills, and I enjoy creating and delivering engaging and effective training programs. I collaborate with the corporate and senior retail management teams to align the training objectives with the company\'s vision and strategy. I also support the hiring and operational needs of the store, both virtually and in person. I am proud to be part of a dynamic and diverse team that strives to inspire and innovate in the sports industry.
