My job consists of assisting licensed physical therapists with patient intake and Covid-19 protocols, preparation of gym equipment ahead of time, as well as preparing hot and cold packs. I provide hands-on assistance with therapeutic exercises as detailed by the physical therapists. I engage in constant observation of patients to comply with safety standards. Finally, I am responsible for maintaining the high organizational standard of the therapy gym and liaise with all office personnel with regard to patient appointments in the effort to provide best outcome for the patient’s therapeutic wellbeing.
