About Jennifer Gilbert

Jennifer Gilbert leverages a passion for philanthropy, problem-solving, and more than 20 years of experience in the interior design ecosystem to address challenges in a variety of industries.She firmly believes that purposeful design has the ability to change the way people work, live and interact with each other, and it’s under that philosophy she founded and currently serves as Creative Director at POPHOUSE, a Detroit-based design studio specializing in thoughtfully assembled spaces. Her impact can be seen in numerous Detroit locations, and her goal is to ensure that throughout Detroit’s reinvention design, art and culture take center stage.Jennifer is also the President of the Board of Directors for NFX, an organization that funds scientific and medical research that aims to advance treatment options and brings us closer to a cure for NF. She also serves on the Board of Governors of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Cranbrook Art Museum and as a Trustee for the Cranbrook Educational Community. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at Michigan State University.
