Jennifer Garizio joined the management team of Ameris Bank in June, 2015 as SVP, Learning and Development Director. Jennifer is a proven leader and results oriented with great communication skills. Her background includes 22 years in the banking industry where she previously served as Vice-President and was responsible for human resources, and training and development efforts. Prior to working at Ameris Bank, Jennifer served as the Executive Director of Catholic Charities Jacksonville Regional Office where she was responsible for program management and license maintenance of the organization’s programs, including: Emergency Assistance, Refugee Resettlement, Housing Opportunities for People with HIV/AIDS, Workforce Development, Food Assistance, Immigration and Legalization, Apostleship of the Sea, and Ministry for Persons with Disabilities. Ms. Garizio provided oversight for the management of the agency’s $5 million budget and 60 member staff. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Marketing and Consumer Research from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York.
