   As Director of Quality & Safety Improvement, I lead systemwide quality and safety strategies across a $8.3B healthcare system with 10 hospitals and over 300 care sites. I’m passionate about aligning frontline operations with executive vision, collaborating directly with entity leaders and MedStar’s system executives to design, implement, and measure enterprise-wide quality and safety initiatives. These programs aren’t just strategic—they’re tied to board-reported performance, driving real, measurable impact across patient care, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement- Directed systemwide VTE reduction initiative, embedding clinical decision tools into the EMR and enabling real-time clinical alerts, resulting in a 183-case reduction over three years- Designed and implemented a user-centric EMR tool recognized by clinicians as one of the most efficient and intuitive resources within the system- Co-led the development of CY25 readmission reduction strategies aligned with corporate performance targets- Standardized Patient Blood Management protocols to improve patient safety and resource efficiency- Managed bi-annual safety survey logistics for over clinicians and associates- Led COVID-19 data capture/reporting infrastructure across three states and HHS- Key member of the COVID-19 response team aimed at creating standardized workflows and protocols during pandemic operations.
