   Jennifer is one of the founders and co-owners of Ubuntu Wellness, LLC. She is also a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (E. 05•••07-SUPV) in the State of Ohio. Jennifer’s clinical specialty is in working with trauma. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Certified in Advanced Clinical Hypnosis, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Motivational Interviewing, and other cognitive behavioral strategies to help support optimal personal functioning.Jennifer obtained her BA in Dance in from Lake Erie College and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Cleveland State University in 2004. She has worked in the mental health field since starting at community mental health agencies in Lake County before returning back to Geauga County to continue to serve. Jennifer’s passion is to help others find their authentic selves through creative expression and mindfulness. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys concerts, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family. Ubuntu Wellness provides holistic health services that enhance people’s mind, body and spirit. Services offered are as follows-Professional Clinical Counseling (both Individual and Group)-Specific clinical interventions: EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused, Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction -A variety of workshops related to health and well being -CEU training opportunities for Licensed Social Workers and Counselors -Clinical Supervision for newly licensed Clinical Counselors (as required by the State of Ohio)-Yoga -Wellness Workshops -Meditation -Massage Therapy -Reiki/Breathwork -Workplace and School Based Wellness Programming
