About Jennifer Elder

I have provided public accounting auditing and consulting services since 2003. I primarily focus on clients in the energy industry as well as energy-related services and investment funds, private equity, and registered investment advisors. My extensive experience and leadership in the energy industry enable me to provide specialized expertise in assisting clients with complex accounting topics and reporting requirements including derivatives and hedging, complex debt and equity instruments, mergers and acquisitions, impairment analysis, and other technical matters. I also specialize in SEC reporting and SOX 404 internal controls compliance.Prior to joining Moss Adams, I was an audit partner and a member of the national office at a public accounting firm, where I was responsible for providing technical consultations and maintaining the firm’s quality control standards. Earlier in my career, I worked in the energy risk assurance and advisory group in the capital markets division of a Big Four public accounting firm. Additional experience includes working in the energy marketing and trading group of a publicly traded integrated energy company.
