Areas of ExperienceAll aspects of Family and Probate Law I am a partner in the Family and Probate Law Group at Casner & Edwards, LLP. I was admitted to the Bar of Massachusetts in 2003 and for the last 15 years I have focused my practice on all aspects of family law matters. I am a Council Member for the Massachusetts Bar Association Family Law Section and a member of the Greater Boston Inn of Court. I have also been selected by Massachusetts Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in each year from 2009 – 2018 (less than 2.5% of attorneys in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are awarded this honor in any given year), and was named in the Super Lawyers Women’s Edition. My practice includes courtroom advocacy, trial litigation, mediation and negotiation on divorce, paternity, custody, adoptions, guardianships, will contests and prenuptial agreement matters. I routinely handle high conflict custody matters, removal cases and high level asset protection or division matters. I have also been appointed as a Guardian ad Litem in the Probate and Family Court, and I have worked as a parenting coordinator. I have previously been a guest lecturer at Suffolk University Law School in their Financial Issues in Family Law Course, as well as its Family Law Trial Practice Course. In addition to that, I was a moderator for the Massachusetts Bar Association at their annual conferences in 2017 and 2018 on the topics of “Along the Path of the Alimony Reform Act” and “High Conflict Custody Matters, Contact Resistance, and Putting the Children in the Middle”. I obtained my J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law and I graduated from Saint Michael’s College where I received a B.S. in both Political Science and Sociology/Anthropology.
