   As Operations Manager of UVA Engineering’s Link Lab—a sq. ft. interdisciplinary research and training facility—I lead the day-to-day operations that support over 55 faculty and 350+ graduate and undergraduate students focused on advancing Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) research.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:Oversee daily facility operations including space management, equipment oversight, maintenance coordination, and vendor relations.Develop and manage the annual operating budget; track and reconcile expenditures across multiple research accounts and funding sources.Lead all event planning and logistics for major initiatives including Research Day, CPS Rising Stars Workshop, and internal award programs.Manage digital communications, including website content, social media strategy, and lab publications.Serve as the primary liaison for faculty, students, staff, and external stakeholders.Hire, train, and supervise administrative support staff.Coordinate internal committees (Student Committee, Leadership Committee) and serve on the UVA LGBTQ Committee and Chair of the Professional Development SEAS Staff Committee.Administer lab-wide logistics including student/faculty seating assignments, listserv management, and alumni tracking.
