ABOUT JENNIFER BOEHNE
Jennifer Boehne, PharmD, MHI, MPH is an expert in the Medication Safety and Pharmacy Informatics. She completed an accredited Fellowship in Pharmacy Informatics and Outcomes Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Partner’s Healthcare and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. While in Boston, she also received a Masters in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Doctorate in Pharmacy in addition to pursing a Masters in Health Informatics while at the University of Minnesota. In addition, she has completed an accredited PGY-1 residency at St. Mary\'s Medical Center. Her primary research interests include the use of clinical decision support to improve appropriate prescribing and dosing of medications in geriatric patients and patients with renal insufficiency. She is also doing work on the unintended consequences of technology and using technology to help identify and prevent medication errors and adverse events. Other research interests include: CPOE, e-Prescribing, and e-Pharmacovigilance.
