Develop and implement HR policies, initiatives and programs, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations by staying up to date with HR changes and research on HR topics• Manage full talent acquisition duties including, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, developing interview guides and onboarding.• Curate social media communication for internal news and external job ads• Organize team building activities, events and celebrations to build positive relationships throughout the company• Conduct employee orientations, training programs, and workshops to enhance workforce skills and engagement.• Prepare termination letters and conduct exit interviews• Handle employee relations matters, conducting intake interviews, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.• Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.• Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance on goal-setting, performance evaluations, and professional development.• Maintain and update employee records (transfers/promotions, status/pay changes, disciplinary actions, etc.), job descriptions and ensure data integrity in the HRIS system.• Partner with Finance dept. on payroll information for new and existing employees• Work with HR Director to advise employees and management on company policies and employee relation matters• Support LOA, WSIB cases and coordinate return to work programs• Member of the H&S Committee.
