As an Associate Professor at MTSU, I teach classes in the School of Journalism. I teach a variety of classes most of which deal with some aspect of writing for the news media (newspapers, online, and broadcast), social media, or a client. I also teach an advanced seminar class - Race, Class and Gender in Media. I am a member of the Women\'s Studies Council and teach Women in the Media for the Women\'s and Gender Studies Program. In addition to teaching, I also serve on university, college and department committees and advise students.
