   I am the project manager of E911/SS7 Diversity for 86 PSAPs located in the PA/DE area. I am responsible for network diversity and survivability of Emergency Communication platforms and related supporting infrastructure. As an IOF (Interoffice Facilities) Planner I plan, design and implement SONET rings for Verizon’s IOF network and entrance facilities to independent telecommunications companies. I review, analyze and provision the capacity of the IOF network to meet demands for optical carriers, T3s and other tariffed services and also plan and monitor the deployment of channel bank type equipment via capacity creation requests (CCR’s) and telephone equipment orders (TEO’s); support marketing and sales inquiries and firm orders for available facilities to customers; maintain compliance with FCC regulations regarding trunks and customer-driven orders. Also, review E911/SS7 networks for diversity and implement designs that support diversity in the network path. I work across organizations to accomplish established goals on projects as well as handle escalations and communicate as required through upper management. On a daily basis I connect the IOF network to the Outside Plant (OSP), Data & Switching Networks. IOF Networks involved include: FiOS, Cellular Customers - FTTCS, VoIP, TLS, Ethernet, E911/SS7 and any special service designs.Previously I was a Project Manager for FTTP EPA/DE, Project Manager for COE, Center Engineer (issue work orders, track spending, also captured hundreds of thousands of overages charged by vendors), Field Engineer (engineer placement and connections for CO equipment), briefly was Vendor Manager while still handling FE functions. Prior to being promoted to management I was in a variety of jobs including: Ecris (pricing OSP Engineering jobs, Light Company billing), Accounts Payable (payments of environmental billing for NY/NE), Collections and finally Cost Accounting (posting OSP Engineering jobs w/construction work, reconciliation)
