ABOUT JENNIFER BOUCHER

My resume contains the titles of Manager, Director, and Coordinator of Volunteers - but what does that really mean? That means I’m an excellent project manager, team leader, and community builder. That means I’m at my best when I’m coaching and connecting with people. I’m inspired by watching them grow and succeed, become better versions of themselves, and make a difference in their community. That means I’ve spent over a decade as a Human Resources department for hundreds of unpaid personnel – recruiting and interviewing, onboarding, training, motivating, and retaining, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local entities and incorporating best practices. That means I’ve been engaged in the local community as I’ve coordinated countless events, solicited sponsors, and conducted workshops and educational offerings. That means I’ve navigated challenging conversations with tact and diplomacy - with volunteers, department managers, philanthropists, and executive leadership alike. I believe in the importance of equity and inclusion, that diversity should be recognized and celebrated, while remembering the similarities we share as humans. I have been fortunate to have worn many hats and had many titles throughout the years. I\'m very proud of my professional accomplishments, but my favorite titles so far? Those are: Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
