About Jennie Climo Edu
When you think of Dungeons and Dragons, what do you see? A handful of nerdy boys in the basement of their mother’s house dressed up like wizards? What I see is a team who works together towards a common goal while growing. Now what does this have to do with working in corporate? My name is Jennie Palermo and I am a continual learner, learning and development (L&D) professional, and leader. My entire career goal is to help others reach their full potential at work by growing, learning, and developing. To come back to Dungeons and Dragons, this is a little like a Cleric - the role who supports, and generally backs up the rest of the team to make sure the job gets done. I view my work as an L&D professional as the supportive team player who helps the other employees work more efficiently, up to date on the newest ideas in their field, and get onboard faster to work at full capacity faster. I am the biggest team player you will find as well as the biggest cheerleader. I can get along with anyone and everyone and will dedicate myself to the success of the company and its employees. I have worked in the L&D field for close to 10 years from substitute teaching, training new tellers, creating onboarding plans and executing them, designing, producing, and facilitating trainings, as well as assisting in finding resources or coaching for any learning endeavor an employee had.
