ABOUT JENNIE LILL
As Associate Vice President in the DATA organization at Amgen I am incredibly proud to lead a team of innovative researchers who drive technology development to advance drug discovery and development. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I have a strong track record of managing teams, both directly and through cross-matrix approaches and leading various technological innovation endeavors and therapeutic programs, pushing the boundaries of drug development.My main areas of expertise are proteomics, lipidomics, genomics. bioinformatics, and next-generation sequencing. Many of these technologies generate data that is incorporated into our AI/ML strategy for generating new therapeutic moieties. My main roles are to generate a strategic vision, perform project prioritization, manage a multi million dollar budget. Other skills are resource planning, project coordination and management, outsourcing, and cross-organizational collaborative management. I am also passionate about mentorship and advancing the skills of my colleagues.I have authored more than 100 scientific papers and review articles, a book, and two edited books, and I have been an invited speaker and a conference organizer for multiple events.
