ABOUT JENNIFER DOOTSON

What do you get if you mix (almost) 20 years of HR leadership experience, 25 years worth of organisational psychology obsession, and autism? Me! I am a lot of things to a lot of people which is why I’ll often ask “How can I help?” first, before getting into the weeds of what I do.Problems I solve with my clients:culture and culture changecreating a neuroinclusive organisation creating accountability having difficult conversations leadership development psychology of salesmaximising the customer experience Topics clients ask me to speak at their events about:neurodiversity and being more neuroinclusivebecoming a strengths-based organisation strategic planning to increase engagementLinking engagement to bottom line profit Areas my coaching clients want to work on:Imposter syndromeBeing better at presentations and presentation skills Challenging effectively Finding their whyDealing with conflictCoaching for neurodiverse employees15 years working in the Human Resources function has taught me some valuable lessons:1. Poor management is often a skill deficit, not a will deficit2. There is a DIRECT link between engagement and profit (ask me how - I love to GEEK OUT about the maths)3. HR will never truly be a strategic partner whilst there is such a heavy reliance on HR to solve the problems that managers should be solving4. Coaching, done well and by someone who is qualified, can be transformative for an organisation5. Organisations don\'t think enough about how they are going to embed and sustain change(ENTER ME) she says in parentheses.I know HR, I get change management, and I create the right solutions to solve an organisations pain points. I use organisational psychology to create real and sustainable organisational change. My husband says I\'m a unicorn. My clients say \"this is the most valuable leadership training I have had in 30 years.\"My daughter says my baking could be better. If you\'re looking to level up any of the above- let\'s have a chat!My podcast, Lightbulb Moments, is a great place to get a feel for if I\'m the right person to work with your organisation.
