ABOUT JENNICA SCHWARTZMAN

How I help people: I am a problem-solver. I am organized and goal-oriented. I am a verbal processor and love meetings. I commit to doing the work. I am well-researched, curious, and confident. And I love teaching, sharing my experiences, and giving one-on-one indie producing consultations. My background: My family lived in the woods near a creek in Pennsylvania before replanting to Southern California to build a small community church where I grew up working both in front and behind the scenes, developing a DIY learn-what-you-need grit that defines my work culture. First born daughter with little-sister-energy. What I do: I pitch movie ideas to my husband (and to my brother). I develop and write these movies (by myself, with people, or with teams). And then I make those movies. Sometimes I work on other people\'s movies, too. Fun Facts: I whistle a lot. I tap dance in line at the grocery store and the bank. I broke my ankle falling off a skateboard in my 30\'s, my ankle still hurts when I walk barefoot. I got all A\'s in grad school and I really need people to know that. In the same year, Schwartzman premiered on Apple TV Plus\' anthology series ROAR as Betty Gilpin\'s (GLOW) overly vain mother. And an eager-to-please TV producer opposite Stephen Colletti (One Tree Hill) on HULU\'s \"Everyone Is Doing Great.\" Jennica led the indie dramedy \"Parker\'s Anchor\" in its multi-state theatrical release at AMC Theatres opposite Chris Marquette (Fanboys, Barry) and Penny Johnson Jerald (The Orville) after collecting the top award at Geena Davis\' Bentonville Film Festival. Jennica also led the sex trafficking Crime Drama \"Ridge Runners\"(Indican/Lionsgate theatrical) in the same year as Detective Rachel Willow. Her leading roles in \"Gordon Family Tree\" and \"Before The Lights Come Up\" racked up awards at film festivals across the country.\"
