About Jennifer Alvarez
I\'ve always said journalism starts with the people who are kind enough to share their story with you. Being trusted with their voices so that you can bring their stories to life is such a great responsibility I hold near and dear to my heart.Stories are all around us. Sometimes we\'re lucky enough to hear them - to question them - to share them - to bring them to life, and to help them make an impact in this world. I love hearing individual\'s stories and expressing this through long-form and next-generation innovative storytelling, and especially by bringing solutions-based journalism to the forefront of local communities. I\'ve produced nationally-recognized and award-winning stories for both local and national news outlets including the PBS NewsHour, Arizona PBS, Cronkite News and 12 News.
