Charged with continuously improving the Fraternity and all members’ experience through the ongoing development and health of Alpha Gamma Delta collegiate and alumnae chapters and members. The Director of Fraternity Wellness leads the harm prevention team and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) team of staff and volunteers to continuously analyze, define and meet the varying needs of the Fraternity and her members in the following areas, but not limited to: crisis response, alcohol and drug use and education, sexual assault education and prevention, mental health, diversity, equity, inclusion, underrepresented communities and hazing. Lead across multiple teams and audiences of members to produce quality work against hard deadlines, build collaborative and productive relationships with staff, volunteers and members and be committed to meet the needs of a growing, changing organization and industry. Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization and the industry, work with staff and volunteer leaders to recognize internal and external opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them Develop and oversee the execution of Fraternity’s strategic plans in the areas of health and wellness initiatives, DEI and harm prevention Serve as the chief crisis response officer for the Fraternity and develop and train additional staff and volunteer members on the Fraternity’s crisis response practices The investigation and resolution of risk management incidences and the issuing of status changes and/or directives Build and maintain relationships with campus professionals, regional leadership associations and pertinent professional groups
