ABOUT JENNA THIEDING

I am a current senior at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Health Care Administration, a minor in Gerontology, and a certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I am a current Administrator-in-Training at The Waterford, a Lifespace Community, in Juno Beach, Florida where I am getting the opportunity to continue my education while gaining the best hands-on experience. My goal is to become one of the best, most innovative leaders in the long-term care field to ensure individuals who are older are getting fulfilling memories that will allow them to continue living a long, happy life while getting the supportive care they need. From previous work experience as a manager and leader, I gained experience in research, management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and creating positive change. During my time on-campus at UW - Eau Claire, I was able to engage as an Executive Board Member for the UWEC ACHCA Student Chapter, a CHAASE Intern, a Silver Quality Award Examiner for ACHA/NCAL, and a student researcher. I am eager to continue learning about all aspects of being a leader in long-term care field and the health care sector!
