About Jenna Norton
Jenna Norton is an MD candidate at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and the co-founder of the student-led Street Medicine, Addiction, and Harm Reduction Team (SMAHRT). Before matriculation to medical school, Jenna practiced as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, serving vulnerable communities across a spectrum of social services. Jenna\'s research interests lie at the intersection of substance use disorders, unstably housed populations, and examining the long-term health and psychological outcomes of persistent trauma. Additionally, Jenna is deeply invested in both policy innovation and advocacy for underserved New Mexicans.
