ABOUT JENNAH RAJA
Hi! I’m a junior at Virginia Tech studying chemE on a pre-medicine track. I am passionate about the healthcare technologies specialization of chemical engineering, including the overlap it has with the world of medicine. I hope to further my education through medical school and explore my interest in orthopedic surgery. I am currently an undergraduate researcher at Georgetown University Medical Center and Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center researching two enzymes, Sulf-1 and Sulf2, and their promotion of various head and neck cancers. Additionally, I hold a surgical assistant position at an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, where I’ve learned to assist in a number of cases, including biopsies, over the past four years.
