At Choice Translating, a full-service translation and interpreting agency, I am a Strategic Solutions Designer, a role that combines traditional Account Manager and Project Manager responsibilities into one. In short, my goal is to find customized solutions for each client.More specifically, I manage translation projects from and into 200 languages, helping clients create a big-picture vision of their global communication goals and needs. This vision allows me to offer solutions and options, educate my clients about best practices, provide the greatest return on investment and a high-quality, accurate deliverable. I pride myself on being a forward-thinker who stays abreast of industry best practices.With years of account and project management experience under my belt, I’m adept at assessing project details to identify the absolutely best production strategy for the client.(A poor production strategy could equal wasted time and money for the client.) I’m well versed in probing clients on details they may have never thought of, but details which are essential to the translation process. At Choice, we have a tremendous network of translators across the world and a great relationship with each of them, which results in top-notch results and quick turnaround times. And without question, I ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet company and client requirements. We believe that follow-up and follow-through are imperative. For us, there isn’t a request too complex or too simple to handle. We actually revel in a good challenge. If there is an issue, I’m the first to troubleshoot to resolve client, supplier, or project-related problems. At the end of the day, I am tasked with ensuring clients are guaranteed accuracy in projects, creative technology solutions and prompt response times, all from a happy, helpful team.
