Provide in-house immigration support and education to sponsored associates, candidates, HR teams, business partners, and leadership- Facilitate timely non-immigrant processes for sponsored associates and dependents including transfers, extensions, and amendments while maintaining open and clear communication on timeline- Streamline the PERM Labor Certification process through clear communication of action items and deliverables, and the creation of a more efficient recruitment process- Advise on international travel inquiries, including guidance on submitting the DS-160, instructions for scheduling a visa appointment, employment verification letters, and resources on what documentation to bring during travel- Staying informed of changes in immigration policies and laws and communicating any relevant information as needed- Created a data tracking process that is shared with senior leadership so they can make data-driven decisions- Develop a corporate immigration policy along with updating processes and procedures that are informative, transparent, and easy to understand- Maintain compliance with record retention, aligning federal requirements with business practices- Subject matter expert and escalation point for I-9 and E-Verify processes, including the development of comprehensive training, communication, automated alerts for reverifications, ad-hoc training, record retention, internal auditing- Assist with responding to employment subpoenas, attorney demand letters, requests for information; and- Assist with labor and employment charges by researching allegations, e-discovery, conducting interviews and fact finding, creating a detailed timeline of events with supporting documentation and evidence, proofing position statements, assembling exhibits, and submitting the final response.
